How Chi Gong Works on Cancer

[Excerpt from Paul Dong's book, Chi Gong: The Ancient Chinese Way to Health, Paul Dong and Aristide H. Esser, 1990, Marlowe and Company]
Haughtiness invites ruin; humility receives benefits.
-I Ching (The Book of Changes)
Paul Dong has a personal interest in the effect of chi gong on cancer which he explains as follows:
Because several of my relatives and friends died of cancer, I always felt particularly fearful of cancer. When I came across a Chinese book on five chi gong exercise techniques and discovered that chi gong can cure cancer, I became highly interested and started collecting materials on this subject. I also went to China in 1984 to see for myself, and found that it is definitely true that chi gong is being used to cure cancer. In the eleven years since 1979, the Chinese have cured hundreds of cancer victims through chi gong, and thousands upon thousands have used chi gong to achieve improvement and to prolong their lives. When news of this spread outside China, many medical professionals from other countries came to mainland China to observe. Members of the staff at Harvard Medical School have shown great interest in this area and have been to China twice to observe the practice. According to the article "Cancer Does Not Mean Death" by Ke Yan,1 an American oncologist (the article doesn't give the doctor's name) visited China and requested an interview with the pioneer of chi gong cancer treatment, Mrs. Guo Lin (1906-1984). Guo Lin said, "Even if I tell you about it, you wouldn't believe me. You'd better find a patient of mine to talk to." The oncologist found quite a few of her patients in the Beijing district chi gong cancer class, spent four days talking with them, and saw the facts for himself
Doctors have taken two contrasting approaches to cancer. The first approach is to consider the cancer to be an isolated condition localized at one spot in the body and to attack it directly using chemicals, surgery, or radiation. The second approach, which is gaining more and more prominence today, is to consider the condition of the whole person as the environment for the cancer, and to strengthen the body's resistance to cancer. This may come under the modem heading of psychoneuroimmunology (discussed in chapter 13) and relies on many factors, including exercise, diet, and mental imaging to combat the disease. Chi gong is part of this second approach.

The use of chi gong cancer treatment in China originated with Ms. Guo Lin, a Chinese traditional painter, mentioned above. In 1949, she was afflicted with uterine cancer and had it removed by surgery in Shanghai. The cancer recurred in 1960. This time it had metastasized to the bladder, and she had another operation in Beijing to remove part of the bladder that was cancerous. When she had another relapse, the doctors gave her six months to live. However, she did not give up hope, and in her struggle against cancer, she remembered that her grandfather, a Taoist priest, had taught her as a child to practice chi gong. She determinedly began to research and practice chi gong, hoping to recover her health in this way. After initial practice with no effect, she turned to the ancient chi gong texts willed to her by her grandfather and created her own exercise schedule. She practiced diligently for two hours every day, and in half a year her cancer subsided. She was strongly convinced of chi gong's ability to cure diseases, and in 1970 started giving lessons in what she called New Chi Gong Therapy. According to Cyrus Lee, Master Guo's therapy is not based on the external energy (wei chi) of others, but upon the inner energy (nei chi) of the patient (for these distinctions, review chapter 1, "Special Section on Chi"). Her therapy combines "active and passive exercises in three stages: relaxation (sung jing), concentration (yi lian), and breathing (tiao hsi)."2

The Walking Dead

http://chikongmadeeasy.com
The Walking Dead has started on TV2 and it already has loads of viewers! Their facebook fanpage has over 100000 likes and hundreds of people like, comment their post every day.

What is the success of this? Why are people so much interested in ghosts, resurecting dead people?

There is only one answer to this: everybody, YOU as well, inside is programed to search for the unknown - the spiritual reals. No matter what religion you belong to, there is a thirst deep inside that doesn't let you rest until you don't find your inner connection with the Devine ( call it whatever you want).

It seems that we are programed to search for a higher realm and this search is bound to continue until our thirst is satisfied. Of course first you have no idea what this search or better to say longing is about. But after a while if you don't move, life is going to step in and force you to move into your spiritual realm.

Yes, you are born to fulfil your life here on Earth. You are born as a powerful person. You can create whatever you want in your mind with the power of your mind. Your body is intelligent - it just needs a master to give directions.

In order to be able to fully master your life, you have to learn how to empty your mind, how to heal your emotions in order to be able to concentrate on the things you really want in life - and what you truly deserve.

The qigong exercises just do that: help you declutter your mind and emotions and help you have a crystal clear mind whith which you can easily create in your life. As practicing qigong fills you up with energy, you will be fit and ready to "battle" any obstacles that may come your way.

What are you waiting for? Start making your dreams become true today! Order the course NOW clicking here: Qigong online course

Serbia and Albania Championship Football Qualifyer Abondoned

Yesterday the Serbia and Albania championship was abandoned after an Albanian flag was flown over the stadium, prompting a brawl involving players and fans.

The referee had to stop stop the match and riot police moved in.  This is a great example of people being carried away by their beliefs. The unknown person who flew in the drone flag was teh master of all these players - he achieved what he wanted by simply playing on people's emotion.

This is what happens every day in real life as well. All the advers are constructed in a way to pull you by a string without you even realizing it. You just go into the shop and put all those goods into your basket without thinking - even though your initial intention was to only buy bread and milk ( - do you still use baskets or opted in for the "comfortable" big trolley? - another trick on you to buy even more....)

What about all the news in TV, radio and newspapers? They are a great tool to form public opinion on demand. How long are you going to let others decide instead of you everything in your life?

Start getting "off the grid" NOW and claim your life back. Be the master of your own life, not the slave of unknown influencers. By practising qigong ( chikong, chikung) you became the creator of your own life. As the genie says:"Your wish is my command" - your mind will act out all your wishes - if you declutter it first from all the junk put in there for years.

Don't hesitate, start today reclaiming your own life and buy the chikong course here. You will definitely thank me later!

The Importance of routine in your daily exercise

qigong and daily exercise
image credit: me - all rights reserved
When I first heard that I should always do my exercises at the same time I thought to myself: this doesn't make much sense. Isn't the important thing to DO them?

Well, several years passed since then and during this time I took up and quit some type of work - out. This week I started my morning spine exercises again next to my chikong (qigong ) practice as I wanted to do more active stuff - chikong is kind of passive, at least the one I practice but gives me a lot of energy that I have to channel :). I don't have health issues so my body doesn't use that energy up to heal itself, thus I need to find more activities during the day - which is great news to me as I want to become fitter - muscle - wise. I'd like to be able to ride a horse like the girl in this image.

So first thing in the morning I rolled out my yoga mat and started doing those exercises. After I finished I was kind of sweaty and hungry BUT my body told me to continue with my one hour chikong practice! So that's what I did and suddenly it hit me why so many trainers want you to train at the same time. Your body remembers and just "follows suit"! How cool is that?

Our body is way more intelligent than we think it is. We really need to trust it and just give the best direction it should follow.

Have you got a similar story or experience?

The Winter Olympics, Shaun White and You

Americans' eyes are on Shaun White this winter season.

This made me think about the importance of perseverance and stamina. In life, no matter what you would like to achieve these are key elements of success. Qigong or chikung is no different!

If you want to see results you have to do the exercises every day to achieve complete health (physical, emotional AND mental at the same time!). Sure enough life can come up with challenges but these are the times when you can prove yourself worthy of getting that prize you want, reaching your goal. Be it becoming healthy and fit or even more: becoming the creator of your life and make things happen with the power of your thoughts!

Actually this reminds me of a friend of mine who is giving some of his work away for FREE to help people achieve their goals. These audios helped me a lot in clearing my mind from clutter and make room for the thoughts that help me create my life.

Hollywood star Shirley Temple dies - facing dying

It's "interesting" that I watched Shirley Temple films in the last couple of days, little knowing that today I come across this news.... She definitely was a great actress from a very early age. I admired her work a lot. At the same time we are all faced with losing people in our lives - most often beloved ones and these are the "hard ones to digest". I can clearly remember the funeral of my step-father's father. He was a great man and I adored him as a child. I was 12 at the time and as he lived in a village his coffin was in the house he lived in. When the ceremony started he was taken from there to the cemetery - with everybody following the cart carrying his coffin. I didn't quite comprehend death at that age but the "mood" of the mourners swept over me as well. As some women were crying loudly, tears started rolling down my face. I can still clearly remember how astonished my mother was: she couldn't understand why I was doing that. (well she doesn't know much about human psychology) Although I was brought up as a religious person and everybody around me was so, they could not live up to their face in such time. This is what made me wonder.... If you believe in afterlife and that Jesus or God or whatever you call the Creator saves you, rewards you and you live happily in heaven, then why all this crying and sometimes hysteria? - I asked myself several times in my life. Do people believe or don't they? Then I realized that mourning has its place in our lives and we do have to express our feeling - if we don't want to get ill ourselves. From this aspect I do admire cultures where people are prepared for dying and the relatives as well. I'm sure people need to know that heaven actually does exist and it is not only a myth. What is your opinion on facing death? Did you like Shirley Temple?
